Over on GameTrailers, a new gameplay video of Pole's Big Adventure has been released. The whole first world is shown, complete with boss fight.
The worlds are set out in standard Super Mario Bros. format, that is "World #-#". In the video we see World 1-1 to World 1-3.
The game is very reminiscent of joke Mario game Syobon Action, with unexpected traps and cruel deaths. In one instance, a cactus that appears to be part of the background cuts your head clean off!
I think the game is looking brilliant, and I'm sure it'll be a hit with retro fans such as myself. Here's hoping the game sees a Western release.
