UK Charts: Week Ending 21/03/09

This week, Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games has dropped out of the Top 10 to #16, a total of six places. Empire: Total War, which was #1 two weeks ago, has dropped a further ten places from #8 to #18.

Sonic and the Black Knight has climbed eleven places to #21 from #30 last week, and Mega Drive Ultimate Collection has dropped seven places to #26. The final Sega game in the charts this week is new entry MadWorld, debuting in at #34.

I think MadWorld will be extremely popular in the UK, especially after the apparent controversy the marketing campaign caused. Sega are quickly becoming the best third-party supporter of Nintendo consoles, something I would never have predicted ten years ago!

More charts next week. See last week's here.
