UK Charts: Week Ending 11/04/09

Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games has managed to be among the top three selling games in the UK this week, even outselling the likes of Resident Evil 5 and FIFA 09. It has gained six places from last week, now sitting at a comfortable #3.

Sonic Unleashed can barely see Olympic Games from down at #32, gaining five places. Mega Drive Ultimate Collection has plummeted twelve places to #36, despite the fact I received my copy today.

The bottom two places in the Top 40 are occupied by Sega games this week: Football Manager 2009 has risen one place to #39 and Sonic and the Black Knight has fallen two places to #40.

Again, Sega's recent big titles MadWorld and House of the Dead: Overkill haven't charted. Sega still seem to be pleased with their sales though, as they apparently sold their targeted numbers.

More charts next week. See last week's here.
