Clues towards future Sonic Unleashed DLC found

Members of the Sonic Community have discovered hidden areas and files in Sonic Unleashed that have not been fully programmed, and may serve as future downloadable content.

Files called "BossHydra.ar" and "BossHydra.arl" have been found, suggesting that a boss was not fully programmed but was left on the disc. People have speculated that the boss may be completed in the form of downloadable content.

A hidden area in Empire City contains an unused javelin item, with a target nearby. This leads to the possibility of a javelin-throwing task being present in future downloads. Other hidden areas include a "water room" in Adabat and a canyon in Shamar.

Perhaps in the future these areas will be fully playable, along with the hidden items. A "hard mode" has also been speculated, but we'll just have to wait and see what happens.
