First off, Happy 2009 from SEGAtastic! And what better way to start the new year than more re-registering of Dreamcast trademarks?
Sega is continuing this recent trend, this time with puzzle game ChuChu Rocket. The trademark was registered on December 22nd, and joins Sonic Shuffle, Virtual-On, Jet Set Radio and Cosmic Smash on the list of recently renewed Dreamcast trademarks.
We still have no idea why Sega are doing this, but one [im]possibility could be the relaunch of the Dreamcast, or maybe for Sega's future Dreamcast 2 plans! Or maybe just to protect the names. How boring.
