Look at Sega's robo-cat!

"Meow" in Japanese is "nya nya".

Sega Toys has revealed their latest creation/abomination, this time a furry robotic cat. Called the "Yume Neko Venus", meaning the "Dream Cat Venus", the toy has touch sensors that let it act like a real cat.

Features include meowing, purring, reacting to being stroked and sleeping. It will not, however, scratch you or bring in dead animals. Phew.

The cat is set for release in Japan in July, but no price has been set yet. It will join Sega's other animal toys that include the "Dream Cat Smile" and "Lucky" the robotic dog.

"Woof" in Japanese is "wan wan".
