Today Sega Toys launched a promotional mobile website themed on its "Pa-Panda" character, developed with McCann Erickson Japan.
Visitors to the website can download Pa-Panda accessories such as wallpaper and message features for a monthly fee. If you download the character application, Pa-Panda will greet, scold and comfort you as well as offering random inspiration.
The character itself, resembling a piece of toast, is designed to appeal to people sick of the same generically cute mascots. Apparently "panda" in Japanese also means "it's bread", and it certainly is!
