Not another Wii sport minigame collection!

SegaStuff recently discovered that on December 12th, Sega filed a trademark for "Wacky World of Sports". This was with the Australian Patent Office, which was responsible for hinting at OutRun Online Arcade last month.

Now, judging from the title of this post, you can tell that I think this will be yet another Wii sport minigame collection. As if there weren't enough all ready! Maybe the massive success of Mario and Sonic has spurred Sega on to make another similar game.

Of course, this may not even be a Wii game, and I may just be jumping to conclusions too early. Sega Nerds says that there is even the possibility of the game being a Tom and Jerry licence, as there was an episode entitled The Wacky World of Sports. We'll just have to wait and see.
