Sega Toys releases mini portable karaoke machine

This December Sega Toys is releasing a mini portable karaoke machine, the Hitokara Home Karaoke. Not only is it small, but it features a light-up revolving disco ball and songs that are downloaded onto your phone for free.

The mobile phone element is certainly unique. Users connect to the online service and download one of the 43,000 free songs, with the lyrics being read off the phone itself. I'm not sure what Hitokara means, but presumably kara is short for karaoke. I looked up hito, which means bandit. I'll leave it there.

The unit is released in Japan this December for about £50.

Reads "drive together". Should read "drive together and crash".
