Kotaku has confirmed that the upcoming Gearbox/Sega game Aliens: Colonial Marines, first announced in 2006, is still on. The company had apparently fired 26 employees due to low sales of their most recent game Brothers In Arms, however this has been explained as "some transformative and talent changes" with people actually being hired.
Expect the stomach-popping game to be released some time next year.
