New Thunder Force, Yakuza and Valkyria Chronicles details released

Sega released new information on some of their upcoming releases today. The first game, Thunder Force VI, is being directed by Tez Okano and will feature six levels of 2.5D scrolling action. A new team is working on this game, which is the first in the series for a decade. The two ships in the game will be called the Phoenix and Rynex-Kai. It is unknown whether or not the PS2 game will see a Western release.

CURRY!

Yakuza 3 will feature side missions such as giving girls makeovers and then taking them out to play darts and pool. Posh. If you're drunk enough you can even have a go on the karaoke machine! Real Sega arcade and prize machines will be playable, as will golf.

Finally, a new scout class called Alicia Melchiott has been revealed for the game Val Kilmer Chronicles. I mean Valkyria Chronicles. Ahem. A demo for the game will be available on Thursday as part of the Qore magazine service on the PlayStation Network.
