GameTrailers has uploaded some new gameplay footage of the Wii and Xbox 360 versions of Sonic Unleashed. Expectedly, the Wii version has poorer graphics than the PS3 and 360 versions but still seems colourful. The versions are quite similar, with the Wii and PS2 versions being developed by Dimps.
I am interested to see how this game turns out. In my opinion it is starting to look like Sonic Heroes: Sonic looks very small in comparison to the scenery, and everything is too spaced out and fast. How can you enjoy a loop or a jump when it's over so quickly with no feeling of physics? The real-world settings also limit the scope of the levels, and of course the terrible rock music has made a return. I am sure the werehog sections will bring the game down more, and in the day stages there seems to be more forward-scrolling than side-scrolling. As you can see I'm not very optimistic about this game!
I saw the videos here.
